Bjurholm Biennial 2025

Bjurholm, Sweden — 19 July–3 August 2025

The Bjurholm Biennial presents contemporary art in close connection to the surrounding landscapes and communities. Exhibitions take place at Konsthall Väst on the mountain, in the village of Karlsbäck, and through events in central Bjurholm.

This year’s edition brings together artists from across Västerbotten, creating works that emerge from the meeting of artworks, voices, and contexts—inviting new perspectives rather than explaining the place.

Finissage – 3 August 2025

• 15:00–18:00: Open viewing in Karlsbäck, with coffee

• 15:30: Leng – performance by Jonatan Nilsson

• 16:30: Mountainbuilding – performance by Anna Pehrsson
